Releasing terrorists onto the streets

Recommended Posts

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/jun/03/surge-in-terrorists-eligible-for-parole-poses-threat-to-uk-security

More than 40% of the sentences for terrorism offences handed down over a 10-year period will have been served by the end of the year, figures compiled by the Sentencing Council show.

More than 80 of the 193 terms issued for terrorism offences between 2007 and 2016 will run out by the end of this year. However, the number of individuals released could be much higher as prisoners are eligible for release halfway through their sentence.

Among those eligible for parole in 2018 is the Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary, who was jailed in September 2016 for five and a half years after already spending five months on remand in custody.

Speechless. Why are they not deported?

They will not just be let back onto the streets but they will be given preferential treatment when it comes to stuff like housing, benefits, even shoe-horned into jobs as the UK govt has decided to adopt the Saudi policy of basically 'bribing' the jihadi's to try and bring them into society. This was quietly announced a year or two back but probably has been going on for longer.

When the Saudi's started it they were criticised by some for rewarding terrorists - shocking claims!!! :o

It will be interesting how the UK policy develops but ultimately it means that decent British people will lose out.

They will literally be patting you down at airport security.

Does anyone want to bet against it?

Then encouraged to join the Police.

They will throw money at silly public sector funded stuff like workshops, community theatre, setting up your own online web business stuff asnd hand out public money left, right and centre. Of course, the rest of us will see cut-backs in such areas. The housing gets me - pisses me off big time.

That Anjem Choudary is going to be released soon so will be back on the free stuff no doubt whilst sprouting his stuff. Some think that the TR arrest was somehow connected with silencing him just before Choudary's release - I couldn't possibly speculate on that though.

I really, really object to giving tax payers money to people who are essentially enmities of the state.

If we can’t chuck him out on his release, we really shouldn’t have to keep him.

Thailand had an immigration policy last year entitled “bad guys out, good guys in”.

Regrettably the British interpretation of this has applied the same plan to prisons.

This is literally fucking nuts! What on god's sweet Earth is he thinking?

My prediction on how this will go... Intelligence will primarily be shared on 'far right' people, whose lives the council will then make a misery by measures such as freezing their benefits/bank account or taking their children into care. In this way, after a few high profile cases, absolutely all dissent will be absolutely crushed for fear of ending up on 'The List'.

This is full-on police-state tackle. Intelligence gathered by specialists responsible ostensibly for the protection of the realm shared with low level government lackeys with the power to complete disenfranchise anyone they like in any number of ways.

This can't be allowed.

If any of you do by a freak chance win the lotto jackpot my advice is to go buy a house in the Bahamas and a second one in the US. Spread your cash between UK and US and keep your options open. That's what I would do. Now all we need to happen is for all of us to win 20 million each on the lotto.

I watched that 'Wonder Woman' film over the weekend. They had a stupid invisibility shield around their island that weas great unless someone sailed or flew right through it.

It was also unrealistic as a warship full of German soldiers sailer through it, discovered an island paradise full of scantily-clad hot women and then began shooting them.

Clearly they had been at sea for too long.

Ministers want firms to raise the alarm as quickly as possible if they have evidence of unusual transactions - such as someone stockpiling large amounts of chemicals or acting suspiciously when hiring a vehicle.

So it's going to ratchet up the difficulty for gardeners and in the meantime they still won't spot possible terrorist armouries hidden in basements maybe smuggled in through the eu etc.

Strapped to 100kg of ballast (something tasty, that sharks like... do sharks like pork?), it will get them far enough :)

It is just another example of weak, spineless politically correct apologists. If you follow the logic through these people - politicians - would have given free housing to Luftwaffe aircrew shot down after having bombed one of our cities.

Very Good

A 40-year-old convict has been arrested for murder in Florida after inviting people round to his home to show them a dead woman's body in his backyard shed.
Angelo Dante Beckford was taken into custody on Monday after the incident in St Petersburg.
He had invited friends round to the property where he was living and when they arrived, took them to the backyard shed where Cheyenne Snyder's body was.

A leading newspaper in Malaysia has published a guide on how to identify gay and lesbian people, drawing criticism from activists who say the checklist puts lives at risk.
The article, featured in the daily newspaper Sinar Harian, features bullets points highlighting qualities that are supposedly common in gay and lesbian people.
It suggests that gay men can be spotted by their beard and love of the gym - not for exercise but to admire other men. The piece also picked out branded clothing as an indicator of homosexuality.
