I'm watching a TV show on the selection process for exhibiting at the Royal Academy. The stuff being presented is crap....

When did art change from a skill that few people possessed to something a 10 year old Down's syndrome kid could do?

Dunno....but @OurDayWillCome has given you suggestions for your own creativity in life!

Avatar thread. I like the TB one ......it’s fun. Plenty more choices though if you don’t like that one.

According to wiki the 'Modern Art' period ended in the 1970s. Apparently we now live in an age of post modernist or contemporary art.

Ah, postmodernism. The very theory that has brought us to where we are now.

How many different versions of that picture did Edvard Munch produce.

Typical gloomy Scandinavians.

C’mon @Great Guy. Fuck the royal academy etc and even our suggestions....unless one floats your boat!

For humour, albeit black humour, I like the TB pic, for fun I like the fonz pic.

Here’s a couple of contributions from me for consideration for an avatar.

We always live in an age of contemporary art.  The trick is what do people call it when it stops being contemporary.
