No.

Wages were rising 5% real terms. Uk did not see stagnant wages til Browns tax credits kicked in, in 2002. Then the EEers arrived 2004+

Asian i.e China exports did not have any affect til v late 90s, early 00s.

Migration to uk did not happen til early 00s. Up til tax credits, uk benefits were very low and non citizens had limited access.

This chart doesnt match with your facts.

And as useless as Brown is pretty much every nation in the western world has seen wages stagnate in the last few 2.5 decades, they didnt all get tax credits, but they all have suffered from cheap Asian labour.

And if you think EErs only arrived in 2004 you've clearly never been on a building site.

The one eyed Scottish fucker singlehandedly fucked the UK over to buy votes from idiots.

He bought votes from most sections of society, with the exception of those who worked and had no assets.

But the foundations were set in long before, he was just too happy to take the short term profit from these foundations to look business friendly and sponsor his free handouts.

Spyguy is obsessed with blaming Brown for everything, he has blinkers on.

Yes it does.

Wage growth bottomed out in 93, end of recession.

Rised up til 2000, the recession tgat wasnt as Btown unleased the spending.

Then wage growth fell in 2004. Yhe uk evonomy was on fire 3% growth and 3% deficit, cadh was gyshung inyo the economy. All the uk got was recession level increases.

Sucessive governments have caused this current FUBAR situation, from Thatcher selling off council housing and union crushing, Blair the elite lapdog and his middle east meddling and Brown with selling off gold reserves and funding short sighted vote gainer handouts that have spiraled out of control.

EE builders arrived as soon as Poland came into the EU 2003/4, there was a shortage of £50 notes at the time, as they were all being sent back. After 2008 financial crisis, it all went quiet as the building work dried up, before exploding in 2012 onwards until what we have today. I think the next financial downturn will see the same thing happen again, except for those who have raised children here.

Tax credits have made the benefit system an absolute farce, hence record numbers in employment. The two children limit will have some effect, but will take a long time to make a dent. In the meantime the next recession will take hold in the next year or so which will make the benefit system meltdown, question is if Steptoe is in power in 2020, expect fuel to be added to the fire. Total anarchy and I’ll be voting for him.

Bet the Tories aren't happy. Still less taxpayer subsidised benefits and more tax paid by these companies hopefully.

Its all very well them winning "perks of employment" but at the end of the day the pot of money which funds their employment whether actual or self-employment is the same size so winning employment rights isn't going to make people better off in the round.

The way I see it, anything that puts the onus on the employer having to pay out more (a private company) rather than taxpayers (via welfare) is the way to go. Ok, they have less money to spend employing other people because they now have to pay PAYE or whatever but in effect when they hire someone as "self employed" they are avoiding tax and NI (because they pay so little that it is under the tax threshold so the country doesn't receive the mythical employees PAYE tax from them, nor employers NI) and they can game their profits. They also need to be subsidised by other taxpayers to top up their low income via benefits. Getting companies to pay shifts the responsibility to them so it doesn't make any difference in terms of less money being in the system, but the entity with less money is not the taxpayer but rather the private company (less profits). If a company can't afford to hire people unless it is subsidised by the taxpayer, it is not a genuine, functioning company i.e. privatising the profits and socialising losses (via welfare).

With immigration continuing, the non productive segment of our economy continues to swell as we import people to provide services for people.. but without expanding any real growth, productive industry.

Migrants get old as well, but having a  population propped up with benefits means there will be no money to provide services when they retire.. This was never factored in to mass immigration cost/benefit.. it’s all about the short term gain of cheap Labour to business that will cause massive pain in the future..
