Is getting yer kit off "empowering" NSFW

Recommended Posts

Jessie Diggins, Olympic gold medalist skier claims getting her kit off for "ESPN" was "empowering". I wonder if she was just cashing in on her olympic fame and trying to dress it up in some feminist claptrap. "Dont worry" she reassures us "the photoshoot was on an all women set". Yeah Jessie, but your photos are plastered all over the interwebs for fat, sweaty, bald, unshaved blokes to fap off over.

Well you judge.

She's not even the first female skier to do it. Miriam Gossner and Lynsey Vonn (sort of) have already gone down this route. Gossner was paid half a million for getting her kit off by Playboy. You go girl.

They are not very nice pics IMPO. Makes her looks like she has a mannish body - was it an female set because the photos were done for a lesbian audience? @MrsXYY looks curvier..

I was out taking some selfies on my bike an hour ago. I now realise that I made a mistake by keeping my clothes on. Tomorrow will be different.

I've just empowered myself in the shower.
Oh god that sounds filthy.

I’m finding it too hot to indulge in any self-empowerment today myself and you’ll probably wake up tomorrow with a widow’s peak now.

Well, better than having to be completely covered. The human body is natural and can often be very beautiful. If women have the right to wear the burqa as free expression, shouldn't women have the right to be nude or wear bikinis/short skirts without fear of being abused because of their choice of clothing (or none).

If by 'empowering' they mean 'wankable' then I agree wholeheartedly.

She's an attractive, fit woman getting her kit off. Women will be thinking 'I wish I looked like that'. Men - ' I wish I could shag that'.

It's pandering to base insecurities and emotions while masquerading as 'empowerment'. I'm all for it but let's not pretend there is any higher moral power at work here.

Fap, fap fappity fap.

Disappointing pictures.

Yeah had you spunked $5.95 or whatever ESPN mag costs you might feel a bit short changed. Maybe she should have had a male photographer. You might even prefer "Cross Country Mag" with this photo

Nope. I think all women should wear as little as possible in this weather as a not very subtle fuck you to anyone who thinks they should be covered up by force. I do this as much as possible although I am too old to wear a mini skirt.

Well, the purpose of such magazines is only to reduce the need to be embarrassed while buying soft porn, so tough.  The sensible ones buy (bought, as it is history now) a newspaper at the same time -- bit like this:

[youtube apparently doesn't allow inline for that one -- probably for the best as it is about pure filth and definitely not safe for work.  in 1980.]
