Have we had a thread about this already? The real context in which we should be evaluating Trump's isolationism, Merkel's EU Open Door policy and Brexit?

Has austerity been deemed by multi-national corporations a necessary pre-condition to integrating Western economies into the emerging Chinese New World Order? If so, 99% of the public debate around these issues is just Smoke and Mirrors for the Masses. Very little on the So-Called BBC News website for [China one road] and next to no connection to Western politics, as expected.

A lot of people suggesting its just China/Russia getting on in the World Bank action. The BRICS development bank was talked about quite a lot 5 or so years back, I guess this is the first project.

Certainly seems to be following the World bank theme of load up countries with debt for infrastructure they dont need and can't pay for, write off debts in exchange for state assets transferred to banksters in wall street/the city at a vastly reduced price, rinse, repeat.

Ie, Montenegro's experience.

That said, its hard to tell how much is Wall street propaganda. Doubtless they like the WB having a monopoly on this stuff. Having more than one bidder isnt what the WB wants.

On that note if you have not read or listen to it it`s well worth the effort

A short summary of the above here
