They took it down because it was probably going to cause a breach of the peace and conflict. Do all women identity as feminists - I suspect no. But the conversation will happen, and they will be called out for being traitors to their own gender etc. Then a fight will breakout.

---

The thing is, in the past they would use Sex and models to sell stuff to punters. Now it seems they use identity politics and anything controversial to stand out from the crowd.

---

I have dug out GTA V to have a blast on for old times sake and there's some stuff in there that mocks life. Consider that is a 10 year old video game there's some really clever stuff in there. In it there are various dialog mocking identity politics in there. Then there's a parody of Alex Jones Radio station in there. There's even a Socialist commune, with various social justice warrior signs and messages. They either predicted the future or were way ahead of the game.

I think we just need to laugh - we take ourselves too seriously. Laughter is the sound of freedom.

^Even in the commune, where everyone is dirt poor, off to one side of "Dignity Village" is a nice house and 4x4 car; must be the champagne socialist in there!

Whilst we live in a patriarchal society @Alonso Quijano The only women who still believe in feminism tend to have unicorn hair or ethnic type dress and to scream at the sky.

The rest of us hate the establishment as much as we hate men. o.O

Problem with British feminism is they want to copy the worst parts of men and mix it with this odd form of victim seeking.

Even getting laid in the UK is a dangerous business these days for us men, that could see you end up doing a 7 stretch if she changed her mind a few months after the event.

Unbelievable! Young women should seriously consider spending their money elsewhere if #TopShop buckles the moment Daddy wags his finger disapprovingly...

What did they expect calling it "pop up" with pop being slang for Daddy.

I use it regularly as in, “the niqab and burkah are both instruments of oppression of the religious patriarchy”. Said in an entirely deadpan fashion it is an unassailable point of view when arguing with a certain type of individual.

Obviously the USA is one of the most fucked-up countries in the world when it comes to this sort of stuff so they have a work around.

I think that senior bods at TS realised that feminism is a hot-potato and no-one can win -- eg, in this example, the lipstick feminists (TM) might approve, but the ones that believe that makeup is forced upon women by the patriarchy as part of their subjugation and only fuels negative reinforcement of women as provider of sexual satisfaction to males, they'd think it would be a bad thing...  So better to not get involved.

Unfortunately this has now got out of control and all you've got left is 'bad people who hate women'.

[I get so disappointed when famous people's children do stuff like this*.  It has become clear to me that the road to success is increasingly more likely to be people in the background making a few phone calls and pulling a few favours, than it is about breaking gender discrimination (etc).]

[* not for the kids -- it's nice for them to have something to do.  But disappointed in the way society has broken**]

[** and then I realise that it has always been thus, and shut up]

Or

"I never thought they wore pink anyway, and i thought most of them would have blue pubes".

Is that catchy enough?

I love the 'check with your attorney' line.

And if you are under 18, is it legally binding or does your mum have to sign it?

If you want a laugh checkout Girl Up the charity that TopShop donated to after submitting to the femnazis. The people that make up the board and senior panel look very well remunerated and well errr female; so not only do they hate men (one woman proudly marching for female power in her about me me me photo) but they discriminate against them too.

and again going by the photos they all look very well travelled... expensed no doubt.

Kelsey, Lisa, and Ashley. The rest I wouldn't touch with someone else's.

Seriously though my first thought was that the 'pop up' was probably taken down because of complaints from feminists, not from 'the patriarchy' as they are trying to claim. The reason being it risks promoting stereotypes about feminism. I suspect this is another of example of the left starting to eat itself.
