Ready Salted crisps.

This dates back to the 50s and 60s when crisps came unflavoured but with a small blue bag of salt included so you could salt them yourself.

Some manufacturers developed a way of salting the crisps so that they now came "ready salted".

They should be called Salted Crisps as is the case for Salted Peanuts.

I thought "ready salted" covered that :D

Yes came back in the late 80s with Smiths' Salt n Shake.

They tasted terrible without it
