Bedrag Justesen 9,531 Posted March 28, 2017 Only A Fool Would Say That. My favourite is probably Peg.
SNACR 4,682 Posted March 28, 2017 I prefer Dolphin Square resident Steely Dave from an era when politicians rapped their way through a party political broadcast.

The XYY Man 6,310 Posted March 28, 2017 (edited) I'm not too familiar with Steely Dan - and am feeling excluded. Any chance we can do best Showaddywaddy tunes instead...? XYY Edited March 28, 2017 by The XYY Man

Great tracks, Joe
NTB 1,871 Posted March 28, 2017 I assume most who like Steely Dan will also have this, but just in case it passed you by:

Charles Carter 385 Posted September 5, 2017 (edited) Well since it was me who started this thread (Tabasco Kid), RIP Walter Becker. One half of an incredible songwriting partnership. So many fabulous songs. *Apologies* Should be in Music thread. Edited September 5, 2017 by Charles Carter

UmBongo 1,018 Posted September 8, 2017 I must confess to only having the 'Greatest Hits' of Steely Dan...none of their back catalogue. Like Bedrag Justesen I think Peg is probably my favourite. I tend to prefer the ones from 1976/7 but I really like 'My Old School' from 1973 (?): "I was smokin' with the boys upstairs When I heard about the whole affair" Cool lyrics. Great horns too. But what's wrong with Guadalajara?
