Here's another one. Not a carbuncle, but look at the photos first: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/property/article-7731785/Grade-II-listed-Welsh-manor-owned-Henry-VIII-sale-875-000.html

Lovely...

Now look at the location. What the fook?

I don’t like the house (looks cold and more a museum piece than a home) but the location’s good.

In Caldicot? I zoom past it often on the M4 or M48, never anything going on there, and sandwiched between two M roads...

This isn't really a carbuncle, but it gives a whole new definition to the word 'quirky'

Stunning from the outside. Inside not to my tastes.

I can imagine both locations to be really fun for entertaining guests, maybe for a weekend away with friends.  But massive fuel bills and probably nightmares if staying there for more than a couple of nights.

$350k for your own prison; interesting!

AND THE BEST PART, connected to the home is a 2500 sq ft legitimate jail with 9 cells, booking room and 1/2 bath. The cell door lock throws appear to be operational.

2nd best part is the owner spent 1.5mill on the restorations, and its yours for only 350k :Jumping:

I reckon the local council/police force misspent the local tax payers money.

Buy it and become your own jailer.

I'd love to imprison my local borough councillors, they're cunts.
