UK carbon emissions 'at lowest level since days of Jack the Ripper'

Recommended Posts

Well I never, has this been prominently reported anywhere else.

Apparently CO2 emissions have dropped to a level last seen in 1888 when the first Football League match was played.

Plus, wait for it the amount of carbon pollution per person (5.4 tonnes) was also the lowest it has been since 1858, the report found.

See there is a plus side to filling the country with 3rd worlders who sit on their arses all day, just saying.

Population 1888 - 27 Million, 2018 ~68 Million, 1858 20 Million

Just remember these numbers when they want to tax you some more.

Don’t worry, now the air is cleaner, they can start taxing fresh air.

A bizzare point of reference. A bit like saying such and such hasn't won the FA cup since Ian Huntley murdered two schoolgirls...

Probably the only thing the intern who wrote it recognised when they did this.

If you see a 'journalists' name on an article on the SKY website they are invariably some pimply graduate/intern/student which is why their articles are so shallow/biased and poorly researched.

Looked up two today, one was a uni student doing a six month stint, the other had just graduated.
