Euro elections count

Update. TBP seems to be solidifying a lead. Libs still second by a mile though

Tory vote surprisingly strong. Almost double labour (though this is a traditional blue area) but they’re beating greens too

Cucks are fucked

I’m a party agent, not a council counter. I’m one of the overseers  on behalf of the candidate. I’m typing this from outside the counting hall. Don’t worry, no rules broken

No need. See above

Excellent, will follow with interest.

I thought you were counting for the council from your OP so it sounded dodgy; cheers for the correction.

Er, are you happy you're allowed to do that?

I'm not saying that you aren't but there are all manner of funny rules around elections and I wouldn't want you to fall foul of one.

Rules are what the `Powers that be` use in the name of democracy to make sure we all behave the way they want us to...they lost this `right` when they decided they knew better than democracy!

I wasn't coming from that angle, my usual stance is "rules are for fools" or "rules are for other people", however @Southmartin has a part time political career and any rule breaches to do with elections can debar you from standing for anything.

Anyway, confirmed not a problem.

First time I’ve voted in an eu election apart from the uk eu referendum.

I’m pissed off about having to wait days for the results but that’s the rules.

Exciting tonight and tomorrow though, for me, anticipating the results coming in the uk and other Eu countries.

I’m hoping for more “wrong” voting from the population and seeing politicians getting more grief about the rise in “populism”.....xD....people vote for parties or people who they think may address their concerns. Nowt wrong with that!

Thanks @Southmartinfor updates from a count. Interesting.

Sheep only went to bog standard 1970s comp, speeling, grammar and punctuation were optional.

At least they didn't teach the Oxford comma.

Don't worry, back in 2001, Alastair Campbell declared an end to bog standard comprehensive schools.

Oddly enough, he wasn't Education Secretary at the time.

I wonder how much he'll be enjoying this evening's results...

How I’ve been taught to use a comma........Bring me a pencil, eraser and notebook.

Agree.  I sometimes use it when writing lists though.
