Well new labour encouraged couples to have 2 houses and loads of kids to maximise their benefits, but then they weren’t really commies 😀

40% relief will go for pensions

many spurious "green" taxes will be introduced

so called Mansion tax

tax on dividends (its unearned innit)

increase alcohol duty (muzzers won't be bothered)

40% tax up to 50%

tax on flights (except for Emma Thompson)

and so on and so on and so on

I’m expecting income from lodgers to be a future target in London I bet many thousands are able to get the maximum amount tax free which is close to 9k. Alcohol will follow Scotland under the guise of health and obcety problems

If Corbyn gets in power there will be a flight of capital overseas so my guess is capital controls would be first, including restrictions on cash withdrawals. Once they have locked down capital they will steal/nationalise it. I would not worry about the minutiae. Needless, to say the poor will never get to see a penny of this money as the main beneficiaries as in Venezuela will be Labour Party insiders.

National living wage becomes the maximum not the minimum

100% death duties for non party members

Re-education camps for non believers

United Ireland , to be fair I might vote for it to get away from a Corbyn one party state

Honestly it will destroy further the UK

Of course it will be all for the greater good

This is partly why I'm not bothering to pay into a pension scheme. The main reason is because I cannot believe there won't be a massive stock market crash in the next 30 years wiping out most peoples pots. But I also suspected that someone like Corbyn would come along and we would get a nasty dose of actual socialism at some point - especially as the culture marxists have now taken control of the educational institutions. The millennials, especially the offspring of the real privileged (like that fat lump of shit that was screaming 'Nazi Scum') deserve a taste of what this destructive ideology actually is. Once Corbyn's government is taxing them at 80-90% we'll see how much they love their new messiah then.

Just ratchet up all the existing taxes a hefty few percent then he can go to the Dispatch Box and shout at the opposition about there being no new taxes in the most progressive and modern country in the world all due to Labour.

The Chancellor could simultaneously say that by 2030 the UK will be the richest country in the world.

Even when the IMF was called in the narrative was that UK living standards weren't far short of US living standards.  In those days nobody could argue otherwise.

Brew your own and cut the money grubbers out, another reason not to invest in stocks and shares, it just makes you a easy target for the socialists to grab years off hard graft off you for being a evil capitalist

No. In what else do you invest?  The government destroys your cash savings year in year out with 1% interest rate and 3% RPI.  Gold has no yield but shares pay 4% / 5% and their capital value beats inflation.

I bow to your greater knowledge on this frank but i see stocks as a casino, im old school and believe in hard assets but understand your reasons on yield etc instead of cold asset inflation,

My investments are land and rear antique silver in regards to holding the value in just inflation alone and except that yield on your investments will outstrip my asset inflation, but i hold in my ownership something that cannot be wiped out in a flashcrash

It's not the thread for it, one for the investment forum, but I don't see my Wethersopons shares as risky, nor my FTSE 250 tracker, nor my VCTs as they each invest in forty or fifty start ups.

I see the value in alternative physical investments but I only put anything in those once I've done my VCT or SIPP to get my tax back and put £20k in the ISA.  Anything left after that goes into something physical and unrecorded.

Meat.

I'm not joking. The vegans, health Nazis and and climate change hysterics are speaking with one voice on this one. It's going to get VAT applied to it which will be 25% under comrade Corbyn.
