No, thats Terry Hodgson, who's connect to S Harrison.

Gav is pretty active (or was) in al lthe old faded seaside resorts.

His two scams are rentaroom Hotels and rentaroom carehomes.

Its prob connected to the likes of Funding Circle, but I I cant wait for the administrator report to see where his fundign came from.

The Masked Tulip

The Afan Valley park has quite a reputation for mountain biking but it has never fulfilled its potential IMPO. Would not surprise me if they are thinking of bike lifts, zip lines, new cafe, etc - no doubt public money will be forthcoming for it all. That is how things usually work in Wales.... Hollywood studios in Bridgend... F1 race track in Ebbw Vale...

I know nothing about anyone in the photo.

Surprised MSM are not making more of this.

Money wasted by the whole devolution projects of Wales and Scotland, let alone NI, is an enormous scandal.

Wales is potentially Venezuala if it ever becomes independent.

Way way way too slow in handlings these rentaroom/SIPP rip off idiots.

Ive called each one right, each time one ofthese scamsters have come  along.

And thats just poking around on the interweb.

Why cant the FSA have some sort of proto crime team who can drop in and go thru the books/funding/emthods/in vestor list, so they can check the claims out?

Mann, who has also contacted the Financial Conduct Authority, said: “This smells a bit like a Ponzi scheme, and it’s so complex it’s hard to be certain, but something is not right here. And so there needs to be either regulation intervening or to check whether or not this is in fact legal. So I’ve written to the Serious Fraud Office and Andrew Bailey, the head of the Financial Conduct Authority, the regulator, asking them to intervene and investigate.”

Mann is the second senior politician to call on the SFO to investigate after Adam Price, the leader of Plaid Cymru and a Welsh assembly member, said this week he would write to the agency asking for an “an immediate inquiry” into Woodhouse’s interests.

Theres aboslutely nothing complex. Business is money in,. money out. As soon as anyon mentions indivudal room ownership then they need to swing into action.

The SFO need to be looking at regional government or any public funding body that gives money to these con men.

Government encourages it. Keeps money going round and helps stop people just sticking it in the bank.

The Guardian and ITV News also understand that, as of December 2018:

• NPD executives were expressing concern about the solvency of the group directly to Woodhouse.

• Woodhouse’s personal company, Woodhouse Family Ltd, had taken loans of more than £2m out of NPD.

• Woodhouse’s wife, Charlotte, was being paid a salary by NPD of £75,000 a year.

• NPD already owed around £2m in unpaid returns to investors and was behind in payments to suppliers and agents.

BBC: Afan Valley adventure resort backers seek more time

Quote

In a report to councillors, planning agents Nineteen47 said Mr Moore, landowner Clive Mishon and administrators Duff and Phelps "wholeheartedly wish to take the project forward through the planning process and subsequently to on-site delivery".

However, a six-month deadline set in March for signing off legal agreements expires on Thursday.

Councillors are recommended to approve the request for a six-month extension when they meet to consider the matter on Tuesday.

Planning officers said recent events concerning NPD had "clearly raised significant concerns" about the viability of the project, but added that an updated business case for the resort was "deemed to be robust".

It's all pretty obvious to everyone but the councillors.

More ..

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-49812239

The whole house of cards come crashing down ...

Hundreds of investors are unsure if they will get their money back after investing in the hotels, backed by Gavin Woodhouse's companies.

Some say they fear losing their homes or their life savings.

Solicitors representing Mr Woodhouse say he will make a statement once legal proceedings have ended.

Investors paid thousands of pounds for individual rooms in the hotels, on the understanding their investment would pay for refurbishment - but with the promise of an annual return of 10% and the chance to sell the room back at a profit after a decade.

Blame needs splitting 50-50. Hes a scamster, investors were greedy idiots.
