Just got an advert for this on YouTube:

Basically the vision seems to be you'll be able to live in this block and never need to see the outside world at all....cinema room, gym, coffee shop, residents lounge, co-working space....an apartment block with a ton of communal areas bolted on to it.

You'll never need to leave the safety of your prison apartment block again!

A whole lot to unpick there. £5 says they never even finish the project.

Not a million miles away in principle from one of those mega mansion estates of the super wealthy, in the same way that drinking your own bottled water on the bus is similar to be being served one on a private jet.

I used to read Judge Dredd in the late 70s in a comic called 2001. Don't make em like that anymore.

Yields of 7.5%. The idea is that you buy some flats rent them out to home workers and never let them out again.

It's quite a depressing thought that they seem to think this will genuinely be an attractive lifestyle to some.
